Many people find it difficult to view indian language websites in nokia symbian phones. There may be no fonts for your language. To view any indian language website in your symbian mobile, you must have opera mini browser in your mobile phone. Opera mini has a hidden power user menu. By adjusting this setting you can view any indian or any language websites.
Open opera mini. In the address bar type “config:” and press Go to or OK. You need an active net connection for this. Then you will see a page. Set “YES” for the setting “Use bitmap fonts for complex scripts”. Now you can view any language website. This will make the page loading slow,but you can view any languge website.
I am using Nokia N70-1 i.e Music edition and Opera Mini 5. I have tested it with a malayalam website. If any of you know how to add or change fonts in nokia mobile N70, please comment on my blog about the same.
